Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Checks goods received against purchase orders and processes returned items as necessary.
  • Checks quantity, type, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials and route or deliver materials to storage or job site locations as instructed.
  • Coordinates and completes material and tool purchases according to the needs of jobsite.
  • Manually enter time material charge outs to open jobs and departments per charge out sheets.
  • Maintain general upkeep of warehouse cleanliness and material storage.
  • Assists the team monthly during the inventory cycle count process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
  • Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Must always carry in a professional manner.
  • Must be motivated and self-driven to complete a task.
  • Understand safety requirements to maintain a safe job site.
  • 2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Forklift experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required and ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
  • Ability to operate a 6500 20ft stake bed truck. CDL not necessary but helpful.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Possession of valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Visual acuity and ability to read small print.
  • Hearing acuity and ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs+ occasionally and 50lbs frequently.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
  • Moderate to high risk of safety precautions.
