We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and trustworthy candidate to fill the Warehouse Operations & Logistics Manager role in our company. Responsibilities for Warehouse Operations & Logistics Manager:

Manage onsite warehouse operations for both of our businesses focusing on these primary areas:

Efficiency/Logistics/Leadership

Review and optimize existing operational systems, processes, and best practices
Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
Introduce/research/recommend progressive and dynamic practices and ideas that propel the company forward (grow and scale)

Facility Maintenance/Safety/Compliance

Possesses knowledge of all federal, state, & local laws, compliance requirements (OSHA), and safety regulations for a warehouse; facilitate and ensure compliance
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment/layout

Financial Management

Optimize resources to achieve cost-effective warehouse operations
Monitor/track expenses related to warehouse operations

Inventory Management

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure products remain in stock
Analyze current practices and make recommendations for increased efficiency
Foster productive business relationships with manufacturers and product suppliers

Order Fulfillment

Oversee picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure accuracy/timely fulfillment
Streamline order processing workflows to minimize errors and maximize efficiency

Personnel Management

Provide daily oversight to warehouse personnel: schedule, assign duties, monitor & document performance, ensure collaboration and efficiency
Recruit, interview, and train new hires; monitor and document performance
Terminate employees who cannot successfully complete the probationary period; meet work improvement plan expectations; or cannot meet performance standards

Production

Develop, implement, and ensure completion of a weekly production schedule
Oversee production processes to ensure that quality standards are met

Record Keeping/Analytics

Generate reports, analyze data, and provide recommendations about key warehouse metrics
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and compliance documents

Shipping and Receiving

Manage inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with carriers, prepare shipping documents, track shipments, resolve inaccurate/damaged shipments
Research/recommend shipping practices/modifications that will increase efficiency and facilitate company growth

Requirements for Warehouse Operations & Logistics Manager position:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Required)
Note: equivalent degree and/or experience may be considered
A minimum of two years experience in a Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving/Production environment (Required)
A minimum of two years of leadership experience in a similar management position (Required)
A minimum of two years of direct supervisory/personnel management experience (Required)
Excellent computer skills (Required)
Basic math skills (Required)
Valid driver's license (Required)
Must be physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and reach throughout the course of the shift (Required)
Must be physically able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs (Required)
Machine Operating experience (Strongly Preferred)
Materials Handling experience (Strongly Preferred)

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive market-based hourly rate commensurate with your experience
Daylight schedule, typically Monday through Friday
