Structural CAD Technician - 3+ yrs - Primary Responsibilities:
Prepares construction documents from data and specifications submitted by engineersUtilizes computer aided drafting techniques to perform applicable workAdds engineering markings to plan setsAlters drawings to conform with engineering changesAnalyzes drawings to make sure they are accurateMarks drawings as necessary to indicate any changes that may be required to meet quality control standardsDemonstrates an understanding of engineering conceptsUtilizes software packages such as Revit and AutoCADCoordinates work with Project Managers, Engineers, and other CAD TechniciansCompletes preliminary design work with direction from engineersUtilizes computer file managementOther duties as assigned

Structural CAD Technician - 3+ yrs - Skills and Requirements:
Associates Degree in drafting technologies from a U.S. accredited school and a minimum of three (3) years progressive experience with AutoCAD. Additional Revit experience is a plus.Thorough understanding of and proficiency using AutoCADAbility to learn and become proficient using other cad and design softwareWorking knowledge of structural building components and assemblyApplicable U.S. based work experience.
