We're presenting an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager of Merchandising Operations in Milwaukee WI. This role is critical in executing operational activities aligned with our Merchandise Strategy, playing a key part in the overall success of NBF. This person will work cross-functionally across all NBF departments to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
Here's a General Overview of What You'll be Doing:
Pricing Strategy & Execution:Build and maintain strong relationships with the Category Management teamConduct financial analysis and synthesize data to support strategic recommendationsImplement pricing strategies across all channels and monitor competitive movementsDrive margin management through leading clearance processes and staying updated on factors that impact cost structures (e.g., tariffs, warehouse costs, discounting) in order to build models and recommendationsCreate workflows and templates to streamline processes and ensure effective communication of complex ideas to senior leadershipDatabase Governance & Integration:Lead the team in improving data governance and enhancing product data qualityEstablish frameworks to enhance compliance, data quality, SEO, customer experience, and order conversionDrive continuous improvement in the NBF PIM system to increase efficiencies and automate workflowsCollaborate with senior leadership on high-priority projects and transform strategies into actionable plansAnalytics & Business Intelligence:Lead the creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on vendor/category/product performance, sales & intake, profitability & productivity, and inventoryBuild Power BI dashboards to support merchandising activities and provide data-driven insights for decision-makingOperational Alignment:Develop and manage new product launch calendarsIdentify milestones, schedule meetings, and ensure timely execution of new product launches across teams (e.g., eComm, Marketing, Inventory, Sales)Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training manuals for future hires
What We're Looking For:
6+ years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Planning, Price Management, Finance or related fields with an omni-channel retailer or e-commerce-led business4+ years of experience in people managementStrong process-oriented mindset with experience in creating and maintaining SOPsProficiency in Excel, Power BI, and other business analysis tools. SQL, knowledge is a plusA drive for continuous improvement and the ability to challenge the status quoExceptional attention to detail and ability to see the big pictureStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departmentsA confident and forthright leader
