Reporting to the Electro-Mechanical Technician Manager; the Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical assembly, installation, and support of automation systems throughout several manufacturing industries from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and maintain automation systemsPerform inspections on automation systems to determine potential startup issuesAlign and fit electrical and mechanical assemblies Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed automation systemsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentInteract with engineering staff both verbally and in written formParticipate in project reviews to help ensure projects are completed on time and budget consistent with customers' expectationsOperate in a team environment to help meet or exceed customer expectationsOther duties as assigned
Qualifications

3-5 years' experience in an Electro-Mechanical Technician role or related fieldSolid math skills and ability to read and convert measurementsExperience with power tools and hand toolsAble to read electrical and mechanical blueprintsExperience in electrical panel buildingEffectively follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasksCommunicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environmentSelf-motivated and team orientedQuality driven with attention to detailAble to effectively communicate with team members to complete tasksProblem solving skillsProficient user of Microsoft Office products
