Overview

DISTRIBUTION CLERK - 1ST SHIFT - FALL RIVER, WI

Perform a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative duties to support operations of a distribution center. Responsible for maintaining and verifying the records and documentation of outbound shipments and product to and from the warehouse. The Distribution Clerk must ensure accuracy and efficiency of all distribution activities within SAP. This position requires strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Verifies orders are pulled correctly and packed properly to ship via ground freight services. Picks outbound ground freight and LTL shipments. Ensure the customer is receiving the correct product and quantity per order.Assist in resolving any discrepancies. Verifies quantities and stocks inbound parts. Prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight while ensuring that the packing slips and invoices are accurate and without errors.Ensure that drivers depart with appropriate paperwork.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Distribution Clerk SkillsData entry experience.Computer skills a plus, but not required. Organizational skills.Communication skills.Attention to detailDistribution Clerk RequirementsSAP experience is a plus, but not required. Forklift experience required. A high school diploma or its equivalent.Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to read and understand instructions.
