Bridge Engineer - Primary Responsibilities:
Perform and lead the structural design of various bridge projects. This includes development of design documents, calculations, and specifications conforming to current Wisconsin DOT standardsWorking in collaboration with the firm's Municipal and Transportation Divisions to develop relationships with targeted clients and pursue transportation infrastructure projects for state and local clients in WisconsinOther duties as assigned

Requirements:
Bridge Engineer - Skills and Requirements:
Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required, Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering is preferredTen (10) plus years of bridge design experience including structural design of local, highway, and interchange bridges and ancillary structuresWisconsin Professional Engineer Licensure requiredStrong knowledge of Wisconsin DOT Facilities Development Manual and BOS Bridge Manual including standards, specifications, and proceduresExposure to WisDOT BOS staff and WisDOT project development project managers is a plusProficient in AASHTO LRFD design of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other ancillary transportation structuresExperience with bridge analysis and design software including MDX and LEAP Bridge SuiteExperience with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation.Experience as WisDOT Certified Bridge Inspector is a plusStructural design experience of buildings and related structures is a plusApplicable U.S. based work experience.
