GENERAL DESCRIPTION
CAD Technician I is responsible for preparation of production drawings, small scale erection drawing revisions, and project coordination used for fabrication and installation of precast concrete products. This position supports the department in maintaining internal scheduling for project requirements and deadlines.
$23.61-$31.94 an hour based on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining Project data flow from the Revit Model to Concrete VisionRevises erection drawings as necessaryCreate/revise individual pour sheets for Production to produce each piece neededMaintain Project Flow, following target dates as established by the D&E TeamFollows departmental standards and practicesCompletes special projects as requested and performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GEDAssociate degree in drafting degree preferredInterpersonal communication skills to work in a team setting, as well as in a 1-on-1 environmentAbility to solve problems quickly and efficientlyGeneral math skills and ability to read blueprints and plansBasic understanding of general construction practicesAbility to meet deadlines and follow project schedules Motivation and self-drive are required to complete a taskAbility to use Revit along with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other computer software programsOrganizational and time management skillsAbility to multi-task and able to work on more than one project at once
