Dental Assistant

This position includes an 8-12 week training program designed with classroom, clinical, and lab time to develop the skills necessary to be successful in the Dental Assistant position at Access.

The Dental Assistant works with the dentists in providing dental treatment and care to patients of Access Community Health Centers. They will accurately update the dental record and document treatment that occurred during the visit. The Dental Assistant prepare the examination rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist. They also assist the dentist during their procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout the appointment. The Dental Assistant ensures that patients flow through the treatment processes quickly and efficiently following consistent processes, while also delivering great experiences through compassionate interaction.

Required Qualifications:

1. A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits:

Our total compensation package includes competitive wages, plus a full range of attractive benefits for regular full and part time staff:

1.0 FTE and schedule: Monday-Friday

Starting hourly pay rate: $21.80
