REIMAGINE PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
We're looking for a forward-thinking leader to redefine how we grow, develop, and empower our people. As Vice President of People Development, you'll architect and execute a scalable, enterprise-wide talent development strategy that aligns with our business objectives, strengthens our culture, and addresses long-term organizational needs.

This isn't a traditional training role, it's a pivotal business leadership position. You'll embed learning into the rhythm of our operations, enabling every team member to increase their impact and unlock their full potential. Your work will fuel leadership growth, operational excellence, and a high-performance culture across the company.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drives accountability for a team's performance and results of a function, industry and/or region.Assigns work in the form of objectives, deadlines, and goals.Focused on developing strategies that others will likely execute.Leads a team whose performance and results affect multiple departments.Primarily provides leadership through others.Oversees the People Development Division within the People & Culture Department, leading our enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives. Design and lead a high-impact, scalable People Development strategy that aligns with company goals and directly contributes to performance, retention, and cultural strength.Collaborates with leadership to implement strategic plans and objectives and holds decision making authority on administrative or operational matters that ensure effective implementation of said plans and objectives.Develops department goals, objectives and systems that maximize the impact on broader company goals, including our Ultimate Objective.Responsible for upholding ethical business practices & confidentiality. Responsible for the execution and evaluation of the results of People Development Division's impact on the People & Culture Department's overall vision and strategy.Implements and drives Division Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and coordinates their Division OKRs with the People & Culture Department.Utilizes advanced understanding of leadership strategies to get results through others.Maintains expert level knowledge of industry trends and strategizes the integration of them into the People Development Division.Works on complex issues that require in-depth company knowledge and strong internal and external business relationships.Participates in the development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for initiatives, people and projects.Develops and deploys new strategies for building a high-performance People Development function in line with our business needs.Drives significant impact and improvements across the People Development function, and strategically plans for how people and processes scale.Acts as strong tactical decision-maker, handling unforeseen issues and making decisions that effect mid to long-term operational results and typically effect the financial, employee or public relations aspects of the Company.Oversees planning, staffing, budgeting and expense management of the People Development Division.Drives and controls the accountability and activities of the People Development Division.Manage and interact with employees in the People Development Division.Oversee, train, discipline, and evaluate the work activities of mid-level managers and staff.Establishes and manages department records and reports that can be accessed quickly and easily for audits and compliance reporting.Ensures all employment practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.Maintains People Development staff performance by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising performance results.Partner with cross-functional leaders to assess training needs, identify and close skill gaps, and build talent pipelinesGuide the design and implementation of systems and curriculums to support performance management, career development, and succession planning.Integrate external trends and innovations into our strategy to ensure our development programs remain competitive and future-readyAbility to Train and Coach on Living As A Leader concepts and facilitates as neededOversee the optimization and expansion of the company's Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies.Evaluate and approve external vendors, consultants, and tools to support development objectives.Collaborate with the SVP People & Culture and executive leadership to report on program effectiveness and ensure strategic alignment.Drive a culture of continuous learning, employee engagement, and high performance.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent or five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and/or Training
5-10 years experience leading organizational learning and development initiativesProven experience designing enterprise-wide talent strategies that drive measurable business impactDeep understanding of performance management, leadership frameworks, and adult learning principlesStrong track record of building high-performing teams and scalable learning systems (e.g., LMS, digital tools)Strong Facilitation Skills Must be extremely organized and meticulous with details.Must be able to adapt and work under pressure in fast paced, demanding work environment through multi-tasking and prioritized multiple tasks.Ability to read and interpret documents, prepare routine reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.Ability and motivation to review and recommended improvements to processes and procedures to help maintain efficiencies.Willingness to learn other areas of Human Resources to provide back-up and training as needed

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Licenses/Certificates
Certification in Learning & Development, Coaching, or HR Leadership (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-SCP)
Technology/Equipment
Previous experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) such as iSpring or 1Huddle
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
U.S. Work Authorization (required).
