Responsibilities
Key Projects and Responsibilities:
As a Project Management Intern, you will lead three major initiatives:
Materials Database Development (PFEP):Create and maintain a comprehensive database of all material containersConduct physical inventory counts and implement labeling systemsDevelop digital tracking methodsAnalyze data to drive packaging decisionsPresent findings and recommendations to leadershipPackaging Improvement Project:Lead end-to-end packaging optimization projectCreate and execute project plansEngage stakeholders and secure buy-inDesign and coordinate prototype developmentImplement new packaging solutions in productionProcess Documentation:Develop and organize standard work documentationCreate clear work instructionsUpdate and maintain department proceduresEnsure alignment with quality standards
Daily Responsibilities:
Coordinate with cross-functional teamsTrack project metrics and milestonesMaintain project documentationParticipate in team meetingsSupport continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following:
Supply Chain ManagementBusiness ManagementProcess EngineeringMaterials EngineeringManufacturing EngineeringProject Management
Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteBasic understanding of lean manufacturing principlesStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and in teams
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk production floor regularlyCapable of lifting and handling materials as neededExtended periods of computer workStanding, bending, and moving throughout the facility
