Position Summary:

Registrars are the first point of contact with the patients of Access Community Health Centers. Assisting patients via phone or in clinics. Registrars will work effectively to resolve patient issues, register and schedule appointments, enter and verify patient demographics and insurance information, route messages to clinic staff, and support department and interdepartmental workflow as needed. Individuals must ensure consistent processes while delivering great experiences through compassionate interactions. Extensive knowledge of Access Community Health Centers is required to better address patient concerns, questions and course of action. Outstanding customer service, compassion and empathy are critical in this role.

This position is onsite.

Desired candidate would have the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalentExperience in the use of a personal computer and be proficient at keyboarding/typing and use of various Internet applications and emailExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel software programsMedical/dental terminology knowledge
Desired Qualifications:
A minimum of one year of customer service/telephone/reception experienceFluency in English and SpanishPrevious medical/dental appointment scheduling or registration experienceExperience with EPIC or other electronic health record software system
Compensation and Benefits:

Our total compensation package includes competitive wages, plus a full range of attractive benefits for regular full and part time staff working a minimum of 20 hours per week:

Compensation starts at $20.00 and is adjusted according to experience.
