Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Trade Compliance opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into our Corporate Headquarter located in Germantown, WI.

You will ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with governing laws (local, state, and federal/country). Consult with domestic and international Business Unit leaders to ensure that policies and procedures are implemented and well documented. Identifies risks and develops strategies to address potential issues regarding trade compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and stays current on domestic and international trade laws and regulations, ensuring the Company's compliance at all times. Develops and implements compliance strategies and policiesAssists in obtaining new and renewal licenses, certifications, registrations, and exemptions globally. Ensures that all records are maintained as per regulatory requirementsEvaluates and monitors the compliance of suppliers, partners, and third-party intermediaries involved in domestic and international trade activitiesConducts risk assessments on domestic and international trade transactions and develops risk mitigation strategies. This includes identifying potential issues related to customs, tariffs, sanctions, and export controlsDevelops and delivers training programs to educate employees about trade compliance regulations and best practices, fostering a culture of compliance within the organizationOther related duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of related international trade compliance experience.3+ years of Management/Supervisory experience.US Citizenship (ITAR) required.Relevant bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, international trade, business, law or a related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Strong knowledge of relevant laws such as OFAC, ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations. Open to travel (up to 20%) for work and/or training in North America.
